I HAVE A QUESTION!
I sorta kinda wanna get the linear hp from a supercharger, mainly for autox reasons.. Its really just a toss up right now and was just thinking about it.
I am wanting to go 200-250whp using a supercharger. Has there been smaller pulleys for the Blitz or another name brand out there that can push around 10-15 psi yet?
Just curious. I dont even know if ill go thru with this or not being how pricy something like this will be.
again, just a thought, i know turbo is the way to go for that kinda power.

not going to happen, you really need a turbo to approach that sort of HP
if you are planning on using pump gas as fuel
superchargers draw way too much HP just to get them to turn over
and create meaningful pressures
turbos just use waste to operate

The most whp I have seen out of a supercharger on the 1nzfe is right around 130whp ( on a accurate dyno). That is pretty good though considering it is a 44whp gain over stock. I had to add nitrous to a friends car to squeeze more out of it. I ran supercharger nitrous combo for a while myself. Can't run that in auto x though.

I thought Peterpoop had said something about getting 175 out of his SC....if I recall correctly.

I would stick with a small turbo that spools quickly. Like a garrett gt2554r or a chineese gt25 nock off. More efficient then a supercharger and also cheaper. I am easily pushing 10psi. And going for a dyno run in the next week.

just get a small turbo that spools quick
i dont think you'd clear 200whp with a supercharger (at least a blitz or greddy)
i ran 135whp/130wtq with i/h/e and the blitz fic. with a tune im sure i could see 150whp....but not much more than that

^ What they said. If you want 200+ you'll probably have to turbo. And turbo is cheaper than s/c for the Yaris, at least so far.
No one has much data on the Power Enterprise kit though. That is a fixed pulley s/c that I think has some promise in it.
Anyone want to order one?

cool.. thanks for the replies. Pretty much what i was thinking for this car as of now. Maybe when these cars get cheaper to buy, more people will get them and do more stuff with them.

Probably also worth adding that 200-250 whp on stock internals is iffy at best.

That kit looks awesome!

Agreed. I think 220 would be ok if tuned properly considering I see a quite of few guys here pushing that much on their kits.
The Crx I played with had 220 whp on a stock b18b (rated 130bhp) and a b16 head. all stock. Tuned with hondata s200. ran that for a year, no problems, thats beating the hell out of it daily cuz i loved the sound of blowoff valves and the pull it gave at full boost @10psi.

I just might. I am starting to get the itch to move forward and make the
Yaris a total sleeper except for visible alloy wheels (can't be hidden)
non-lowered stock wheel and tire size, mom+pop M+S tires...normal
brakes and exhaust look, but with a ton O grunt. I don't want anything
other than hidden ability for interstate traffic, find my relaxing spots to
cruise at 67mph and immediate bursts to 80 for passing the
'idiot clusters' so I can settle in. also want a lot more on-ramp power.
that's it. don't need stop light speed or drag race. just highway

buy my supercharger. with a blitz you can set it to come "on" at 50% throttle which is PERFECT for highway cruising....then dip into the throttle and bam, you've got boost

Be careful about dyno numbers, 220whp is far beyond the capability of stock internals for a 1nzfe . Not to be a dick, but many people on here are in denial about what numbers they are actually producing. 150whp (real whp uncorrected) is the reliable limit, 170whp for occasional drag use. I don't blame them, too many shops jack numbers to make customers happy.

I am sorry to say this but a stock b16 or b18 isn't equal to a stock 1nzfe. The honda are more capable to withstand power on stock internals than we do.
If I were you I wouldn't risk putting a turbo on stock internals especially cause of rods. I think 9psi-10psi on a GT25 or lower is the maximum which would equal to 150-170bhp.
There is alot I could say about this but here is the clifnotes.
Don't do it. You will not attain 220whp anywhere near safe with stock internals.
I have a solid 210whp but only because I have a open dp that netted me ~13whp and reduced the weight of the car. I don't know how long it will last like this so I am logging all the data I can. I don't mind the risk.
Pretty sure I am the only one with pimp close behind me that is pushing this little stock engine to the max.
If it's your DD just wait for me to get back with my results. Before you up the boost.
