The interior styling is a bit funkier with a center-mounted dashboard---
So that's why they went with the conservative dash in the new Yaris... The center-mounted gauges were made an upscale feature on the Prius version of the new Yaris.

The interior seems more upmarket as well, if a bit too 80s (around the center vents).
