I was going to recommend a PB ASA 1100.5x amp like the one I have and I'm very happy with, but it's a little bit over your budget, still I will consider waiting and saving $$$ for a good amp, buy cheap buy twice!

I'd second the Powerbass suggestion. I have the model under the one Derick has pictured in my wife's truck (ASA 700.5). It's been in there for a few years without any issues whatsoever.

I always want to try that powerbass asa 1100.5x, I like the way it looks ..so clean n simple.

save a little $$ for that amp if I were you. the planet audio amp you have is alright, I had it for 3 months and it went crap on me :(
