Being that this is my first "new" car, as I've never owned a car that was newer than 98, what are some little add-ons that i could do to my Gnarish that would keep it as happy as possible? I've read a bit about yota's sludge problems, and a friend suggested doing a oil catch can, which i will. short of that, i can't think of much to do to it. I just want to make sure it stays as happy as it can for as long as it can. also, being that it only has 23k on it, I'm debating switching over to synthetic unless it already is running it. I'll have to call the PO and ask him what it's running. What are some things you do to your car to help improve the longevity of the vehicle?

I've heard those are pretty amazing, but I've never had a car worth getting them for, lol (but I do now!). probably wouldn't be a bad idea for Oregon, i bet.

also, i forgot to add this in my original post, but the only modification to the car is an aftermarket air intake, metal tube to a cone air filter in the fender area. on some cars those are more of a hindrance than an upgrade - what about on our yarii?

You won't regret it.
