View Full Version : Snapped Side Marker Tab

So I just picked up a set of smoked side markers and the tab on the second one snapped as I was reattaching it to the car. :thumbdown:

(Stole the pic, but the red line is where it broke.)

Anyone have any suggestions for a fix? Right now I'm trying to figure something out that doesn't involve losing the tab, and holds the marker in enough that it doesn't wind up falling out while I'm cruising down the highway.

3m double side tape!

I've had one of mine attached with a tiny piece of 3M tape for a couple of years now. Just put a little piece on the forward edge of the light where that tab is. Got a spare light on standby waiting for the 3M fix to fail, but it just refuses to fall off.

Yeah, I figured that that's a much easier route than trying some sort of "plastic surgery." :laugh:
