I wanted to know the process of obtaining front floor illumination? Are their specific led lights that I have to buy and can I get these on ebay? First car, sorry for the noob questions.

Also, if I buy the parts seperately, about how much would it cost to install it at at a mechanic? thanks

A good item to use is the flexable LEDs from Oznium, they last a long time, easy to install, hard to break.

they vary in cost depending on how long a strip you get.

here is a link to the item

Get a toggle switch from them and some 14 guage wire in red and black and some ends to connect and your set,you should be able to install without a shop if you understand some basic 12v.

+1 for Bzinn
Thats one cheap and affordable way to do it. you can also take it to your dealer and they might have the floor illumination that comes in the yaris accessory book. Its more expensive and your only option in color is blue. I passed on this b/c Im doin a re/black theme and wanted a red floor illumination, they way Im having it done is excactly how Bzinn described it only Im taking mine to a specialties shop. Im not big on DIY's, I hate having the feeling of potentially screwing something up :P
