Anybody have info on this, ma-void ba ang warranty when we use iridium plugs?

nope, hindi masyado mahigpit ang toyota sa mods,di tulad ng hyudai na kailangan lahat sa kanila gawin, kapag may nakita na ibang mods, lalagyan ka ng sticker na "unathorized modifications" hehehehe

service in toyota is always a robbery. they charge you big time on labor. kahit simple change oil lang.. tsk tsk tsk.. kaya ako sa petromin lang nagpapachange oil... hehe

+1 masakit sa bulsa ang labor charge ng toyota..ako din petromin o kaya red cap. lapit ng mag40k si iRiSH balak ko sa labas na lang din, sundan ko na lang ung maintenance checklist ng toyota.:thumbsup:

Initial quote yung 900sr he he he final bill was 714sar pero 512sar yung labour araykupo........

Hinanap ko yung 4500 dito sa may exit 14 at 15 na bilihan nung iridium na spark plugs hindi ko natagpuan san pa ba meron para mapuntahan.

hahaha. sa toyota major maintenance service lang ako. last major maintenance (50,000km) ko i paid 1500 sar and the labor is half of it. damn. :eyebulge:


all other maintenance service in petromin. some other time i will try red cap. :biggrin:

pag humantong na kayo sa major II sevice 80K kms... exclude nyo na lng yung Thightening of all Bolts? rationale: after my service at toyota right after pag uwi napansin ko mas kumalampag! mas ok sa red cap nakikita mo kung ano pinagkukutingting ng technician hindi tulad sa toyota tago loob!

yung tightening of bolts is important sa 80Km lalo na sa mga under chassis or under carriage bolts. Mahirap maghanap ng kalampag o lagutok lalo na sa ilalim nanggagaling.

Ang term nila sa arabic yung tightening of bolt is "tarbit" if I am not mistaken. Ito ay pinagagawa sa labas at itataas yung vehicle at hihigpitan isa isa lahat ng bolts sa chassis. Ang charge is usually SR80 pataas..

One time they left it on when I picked-up my car! And yes, i kept it.
