Only today I was able to confirm that my car came with an LSD from Toyota. I did a burnout in front of my friend's shop and to my surprise, my both front tires were smoking and finally there they were, 2 long black tires marks on the road. The right side being longer than the left side. I think it's because how old my car is. I ordered my car in July 06, two weeks prior to the delivery date 8/2/06. I had to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered because it was a special ordered from Japan because I ordered it with EVERY option available on a 5 speed manual Yaris. It even has factory cruise control installed from Japan. I've attached a pic of my Identification Plate.

Factory cruise was an option for sedans in 07, but the LSD was never a factory option for cars shipped to the US. Making both tires spin is not a true confirmation of having a LSD.
If you want to PM me your complete VIN, I can run it through the EPC to show you what diff your car actually has.

VIN or no EPC says no lsd was available.....

Aren't you kind of pushing your luck doing burnouts with 450,000 miles on it?

both tires spinning only means that that both tires had about equal grip
it doesn't mean limited slip at all

The 751 shows as an automatic and the 721 shows as 8R3-Pacific blue metallic.
Op's VIN shows Manual and 1E7-Silver streak mica

Not really! If my motor hasn't given up as yet, I don't think it will anytime soon.

Sorry, but it's neither 721 nor 751. I hid the last 3 for personal reasons.

umm, you realize you showed us the full bar code. the bar code is the VIN.
pretty easy to know your full VIN now... and also make keys for...you know...spares in case someone needed one....

Never thought of scanning the barcode. I just found a free iPhone VIN scanner app that read it with no problem.
Fortunately though, it takes more than just the VIN to get a key for a vehicle (especially since every car has the vin clearly visible in the front left corner of the windshield).

By the way, running the VIN through the EPC shows that the differential built into this car is part number: 41301-12041, which as suspected is the normal diff, as suspected.
