i got the 400/500 version of those piaas. you COULD use one. You could get a relay online somewhere or like i did, did a little splicing.

Can you take a pic of the instructions or the model number? I put in a pair of FIAMM 12V horns and had to add a relay and a fuse. Not rocket science, but a working knowledge of DC circuits is useful.

well the instructions are a couple of pages and it does not mention that a rely is required (did not come with one) but heres the model number or "part" number #85110
i actually have a rely that came with my hella twin tones that i didnt use. they are still in my car now but they stopped working about a week ago it might just be that the fuse was blown (how do i check ?) so i might use that rely this time i was thinking about running both sets of horns together (is that possible ?) if it is just the fuse. that might be to much of a hassle but it would be cool if it worked

According to a review I found on Amazon, "Both of them draw 5.4 Amperes and usually one stock horn draws 4-5A. So they will not burn your stock relay." If this is accurate, then you can safely splice your current horn wire and hook in the second. The horns that I bought draw almost 10 amps each, so I had to run a separate power lead from the battery and use the stock horn wire to control the relay.
This install (http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12455) is for a different car, but shows where to splice the connectors. We still only have 1 wire coming from the fuse/relay box, so you would splice the ground wire for the second connection.

well apparently it turns out it was jsut a blown fuse i changed it and the hellas still work but i think im still gonna take them out and put in the piaas. i guess ill find out if i should use the hella rely im guessing no since the piaas did not come with one in the first place

i've been running the piaas for about a yr, and use them regularly (ny/ct commute lol), no relay, just a wire splicing. Nothing blew.

so i ended up running both sets of horns together (piaas & hellas) we ended up using a bigger fuse (50 amp atc blade) and a 12v amp rely also a fuse holder. i believe its wired directly to the battery i will take some pics later maybe a video
they deff sound good and way louder but its kinda weird cuz it seems like not all the horns sound at once like i have to hold down the horn for a good 5 secs before they all kick in any ideas on why this might be (to much or not enough power ?) or how to get them all to fire at the same time ? or am i just gonna have to live with it
