CD changer socket

hi everyone, I just bought a 2008 Yaris and did some research about the car stereo. it looks like the stereo has a CD changer socket on the back. A friend of mine told me that he heard that one may also plug a USB reader to this socket. I found one like these on eBay and though I would ask you guys if anyone tried something like these before I buy one. my stereo model is like this one:
