So it happened yesterday, the echo lost it's stance yesterday aroudn 1pm yesterday.
No more fat tires and lower offsets almost pretty damm close to hella-flushness going on.

Fronts: Bridgestone WS-50 195/60/14
Rears: Gislaved Nordfrost 5 185/70/14
Riumz: Stock Echo RS 14's (14x5.5? with a 40mm offset?)

Why the mismatch?
I wore out my old WS-50 fronts last year, and got the NF5's for a sick deal.

Just replaced the stock tires with snows a week and a half ago.
Went a little narrower & higher though.

I got smaller tires (14") but also -35 offset. doesn't look as tiny as a -45 stock 14 would

Installed my winter boots a few weeks back when I got a nail in one of the Pirelli's and had to pull it for repair anyway.

i had to install mine when 2 tires blew out (nails from the same truck), resulting in a scratched up rim :( . I didnt really lose my stance though :P

Mine looks pretty enemic with the skinny winters. Plus when the supercharger kicks in they spin and howl like the dickens. I hope they last through the white season.
Come-On spring.

I unloaded my 14" steelies with 175/65/14 Firestone Winterforce on Kijiji last week, and just installed another set of the same size but with Goodyear Nordic rubber. Hoping that I'm happier with these tires than I was last winter as the car slid all over the road.

My winters usually only make it through 2 seasons on the front of any car... sometimes only 1 lol

white_rice, the Nordic's aren't too much better, but I find they're pretty decent in deeper snow.

Well I guess it can't get much worse. LOL If these don't work out much better, I'll sell these in the Fall next year and try yet another brand. I'm quite certain I'll grab the General Altimax Arctic next time around.

Entering into my forth winter on this set of Goodyear Nordics. Obviously I've found no need to seek out anything better.

The X-Ice worked well last winter. Similar to the rather impressive CTC Ice Radials, while in there prime.
