I'm wondering if anyone here can offer some advice as to what wheel sizes and offsets would work with a Yaris RS Hatch/liftback that is lowered with the factory lowering springs?

Right now I'm debating whether to go with 16" or 17", and I am concerned about possible rubbing or contact if I decide to go with the bigger wheel size.

Any advice on wheel sizes, appropriate tire sizes, and offsets?

why?

Even with the factory lowering kit you shouldn't have a problem with reasonably wide 17" wheels.

Reasonable meaning 17x7-7.5 inch wheels with 205/45 17 tires.

That's what I have (on the xB) & will be putting on the Yaris.

Considering the TRDs are 18s and fit fine with the TRD suspension, you should be fine as long as you get proper offset. TRD car runs on215/35/18s.
