boot wont open

hey guys

i was able to open my 2005 yaris boot until yesterday. i have tried to unlock it with the key, i have made sure that i didnt press lock instead of unlock but i still cant open it. anyone know what the problem is?

Probably a disconnected or broken linkage inside. Do you have a hatchback or a sedan?

You may be able to remove the interior panel without opening it. Check out the repair manual (http://etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/Engine%20Hood%20Door.pdf), page ED-142. Careful, it's a 15 MB pdf, so don't click the link unless you're on a fast connection.
