Hey peoples!

I was driving to grab a bite to eat last night and a Mustang was behind me with the sexiest headlights. They were halo projector's! I've seen them around, but for some reason last night just inspired me.

I saw these on Ebay and it costs $147.99 plus $30.00 on shipping. I've never ordered from Ebay before because I always hear/read about people not shipping when they are suppose to, scams, etc. But I really want these headlights and I dont know where else to go. Here's the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/06-08-TOYOTA-YARIS-3DR-HALO-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-BLACK-/190603067277?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3D LVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4758713791756823704

Question is, should i buy it? Anyone ever ordered from them before? Is there an alternative option? Sorry for asking a lot, and Should I go to Garm? ( I ask him about too many things sometimes and I dont want to feel like im just asking and not buying( I am gonna be buying from him in Decemer/January though) )

AND, anyone have a DIY for removing headlights and replacing them? Thankyou.

To each their own. In my opinion they just look really busy. Make sure you are good with wiring too. Get them if you want them. It's your car. Plenty of options with $175.

I have ones KIND of like those. They seem to have changed those ones you linked in that the reflector is inside the housing. I don't connect the three LEDs at the top and ti looks fine.

I've been thinking of ordering those exact ones, but the orange strip turns me off. there is a pair just like those without that, too.

i have the older version like betrivent without the reflector in them....not technically legal w/o the reflector, but i have hid's in the projector and theyve been pretty awesome

i have the led's hooked up, but i don't really care for the look of them, lol

ive read a couple of posts now of people having issues with the wiring....but im not sure if theyre noobs or if something is actually wrong with the headlights

Those are the autodepot lights. Many buyers had them leak/get condensation, or have the LED burn out, or some other failure before a year was up.

For this reason, we decided not to carry them -- too much customer service involved. For those who want to take a chance; go for it, some customers have been happy with the product!

I've had mine for a few months and they haven't given me issue yet. The way I figure if they leak it's a perfect excuse to take them apart and paint mine black. The only thing that's bothering me is the cutoff.. I've been brainstorming ways to alter it.

Keep in mind that the Halo's are not CCFL and are just a pair of led's (one on each side) so that beautiful glow that they show in the pictures wont be nearly as dramatic or pretty.

Hmm, if you guys put it that way then i might just go with these

either that or just go with a regular HID kit from garm.

^Those are practically the same.

in fact those are exactly the ones I have except mine are chrome because they were on sale. The bottom slit is for a park light bulb (yellow) to replace the one on the side that is missing

The cut off beam is horrible (on mine). It is now relatively flat cut off, definitely not a line straight but least it isn't like 2 mountain peaks like stock.

My right one scatters light around above the cut off and shoots out a small focused beam of light up and out...

I have an extra set for an 06-08 hatch.

I was thinking I would take deposit and build them to spec with the colour options for halo/hid then take thier OEM headlights back once they get the projectors I build

they look nice, but the G1 projectors they use in the ebay kits isn't wide enough for me.
you can retrofit your own and paint them black, i have done 2 sets so far. output is stupid wide and bright, but wont blind oncoming traffic. bi-xenon high beam and it fits awesome in the h4 bulb socket. by far the best projectors for their money.

How much to retrofit?

At this point im too lazy to do anything so its either i buy hid kit from garm when i get my tokico shocks or do something else that doesnt require work lol
