*New pics added post #8*
New tires came in today. Got a little adventurous with the sizing this time around. Mounting and test drive will commence tomorrow. I'll post up more pictures once they are on the car.

I don't really have any experience with these tires; I got them mostly because they were cheap and in stock and I wanted to try a new size. They are 2" wider than the stock 185/60's and 23" diameter vs 23.7" for the stocks.

No, my stocks are too skinny (and ugly).

I like my RS3's on my Echo a lot, same size too (on 15x7 Motegi Traklite 2.0's).

Sorry for the dirty pics but it's been rainy lately so I haven't washed the car yet.

My wheels are the same size but a +25 offset so I do get some minor rubbing. Not sure if you can tell in the pictures but I did pull the fenders a bit.

Didn't really push it too much yet but these tires do seem pretty awesome. Tons of grip and fast steering response. I can also tell these are super sticky by the way the car coasts noticeably slower once I let off the gas, and of course all the tiny pebbles it picks up off the road. They are also surprisingly quiet and smooth. It will be interesting to see how long they last.

Looks amazing, love your car
the pick up EVERY pebble on the road. I find more rocks in my engine bay around the headlight and hood hinge. I blow them out every weekend seems like

HELL YES
Just a crazy idea. I was thinking of placing wider tires on my stock rims. I have the steel 15" rim with 185/60/15, but I want to put 205/55/15 on the stock rims, is it possible and what are the side effects

The suggested rim width range for a 205/55 is 5.5" to 7.5" so you should be good. No real side effects besides bulging sidewalls.
