View Full Version : Which spoiler for my car?

Thought I'd open an actual poll. I'm really leaning toward the rally spoiler (or at least the ebay knockoff), but I'm open to opinions.

Does anyone have any good pictures of how the factory rally spoiler mounts as compared to the knockoff? They seem to mount very differently and I'm unsure about the knockoff because it doesn't look like it has the "bump" like the Toyota one.

NOTE: Keep in mind that the car will have bronze Drag DR31 wheels eventually.

I am bias toward the canadian rally spoiler because it flares out more on the ends. Sorta wraps around the window and flows really nice with the body.

If I remember and have time, I will take pictures of mine when I get home

None of the above. My favorite is the OEM Toyota Japan/Thailand spoiler.
You can't beat the OEM fit and quality!

Second choice would be the carbon fiber USDM spoiler from Seibon:

I'm actually really liking this... not a bad price either. I might pull the trigger and get this. What's a rough estimate of how much professional installation would be?

I have the TRD Rally spoiler from TRDsparks.
I think it's awesome.
Sadly this is the best pic I have of it at the moment.

Lots of good quality reasonable shops in the Anaheim/Fullerton area.

You can spend anywhere from $60-$300 for paint and install.

$60-$120 would be a "hook up" price from a friends shop, or a very low end shop.
$120-$200 for most reputable shops
$200+ very high end, custom shops or dealer

this is the spoiler that comes on the yaris s in the states and the rs in Canada. IMO the best spoiler for the yaris not to small not to big.

We don't get that here in Australia, I had to order mine in.
But I do agree, it is one of the best looking and the size is just right for the car.

that's the TRD Rally Spoiler? lol looks exactly like the C-One spoiler. Could you throw a few more angles up please? I've been needing a spoiler since I bought the car, and that could fit the bill.

C-One is more chunky and agressive. That one has a little smoother lines.

I bought mine from garm because
- Same price as ebay
- Ebay doesn't have any in stock
- Garms looks the best. His doesn't float over the rough.

I believe it's a cleaner look without a spoiler,however it's your baby.
Remember after drilling holes apply touch up paint too bare metal
so it dosent rust and use nylon washers or rubber washers.

You CAN paint this and install it yourself,a nice project, low cost, take your time.

thinking of me trying that just brings all sorts of nightmares. "oops, that wasn't suppose to go through the roof." "yea, that drill bit did a number on my hand." "Crap I slipped, thankfully the rear window didn't guillotine my head from my neck, boy was that close."

Just a few of the things that could happen if I tried that on my own. Now the op and most everyone else here are probably much less accident prone than I am.

luckily the spoiler I got attached with only 3M adhesive ;)

it's small enough that it's on there really well.
