After a recent snow storm on way back to Indy from Chicago, I made it my mission in life to improve my windshield visibility. I had just bought new wipers in the summer but the rain and snow quickly proved to be more than they were capable of handling. I made it home and started my quest to improve the visibility. First I bought some Rain X window cleaner. The stuff is fantastic. Then I bought some invisible windshield spray cleaner for the interior. More good stuff!
Then I tried to buy the Michelin spineless wipers for both the driver and passenger wipers. The passenger side was a 26 inch and was no problem to find. The passenger side was a 13 inch and they don't make it in the spineless version.
So my question, has anyone else had this same problem and bought another size and used it (like I am doing) or did they modify it to fit perfectly? I bought the smallest size and although mine sticks out an inch or so over the end of the curve of the windshield, it does work. I would prefer a size that fits correctly but until that happens, I am stuck trying to redneck engineer this wiper.
Any thoughts for the peanut gallery?
