speedo signal source

I pulled the trans (5spd) out of our 2012 this past weekend, and found that the C50 no longer has a speedometer sensor output. I guess they have gone to wheel speed sensor pickup. :iono:

Looking at the 2012 EWDs; If the car has ABS, then the cluster and ECM get the vehicle speed from the ABS actuator (i.e. from the wheel sensors).

If there is no ABS, then it comes from the transmission speed sensor. But, all US Yaris have ABS, so I think it is just the Mexico spec ones that do not.
