ALPINE ida-x100 Ipod Control headunit

well its a bittersweet day.. i sold the yaris :(

okay.. its mostly bitter.. but moving on. lol


I have an alpine ida-x100 head unit. This is an ipod controlling unit. The display shows the album art and gives you full ipod functionality on the head unit. You can also use it with a usb flash drive too if you wanted. The unit also charges the ipod as it is in use. I loved having this setup. But had to put some of my own money into the loan to pay it off and now am almost literally pennyless.

They sell for about 150-180 used on ebay

I would like to get $120 shipped/paypal.


I basically used my mortgage payment to pay off the car.. so i really need to sell this asap!

How easy is this thing to install?

just take yours out and put this in It already has all the quick plug adapters for the yaris so 4 screws and three plugs and you are done :)

it took me 5min to swap it out with the stock one today when I sold the car :)

yes it comes with a special cable. it goes from the ipod to the usb. but i think its a specific cable. the regular ipod cable doesnt work.

This special cable is rather new too. I lost the original one a while back and had to order a new one when I installed this in the yaris.

its literally plug and play if its being installed in a yaris

I sneaked the cable up through the trim of the side pocket of the center dash (on the side of the heat controls)

someone broke into my car once and didnt even see the ipod there. lol They didnt see the drivers side glove box either which had some cash in it ..

but it works well putting it in the side pocket so it doesnt slide around anywhere. i just left my ipod in the car 24/7 since it charges when driving around
