View Full Version : Feb 4 FL meet
Official FL meet thread!
When: Saturday February 4th
Where: Courtney Cambbell Causeway, Tampa
Time:11-4 or until we are bored
So I have been trying to plan a meet for some time and it is finally coming. This meet will be open to anyone and I encourage everyone to round up some more people to come. If weather permits we should have some great views and scenery for photos. If we get board there are like 3 major highways connected that we can cruise on or even grab some rolling shots over the bridge.
Bring chairs and snacks and if anyone has a grill bring that in case there are none on site. I will be posting this on other boards to attract more participant.
I recommend we try and meet up at a fixed location so people can GPS the address and then I can lead everybody out there. There is a large Toyota dealership right there that would be a cool spot to meet up. It is Stadium Toyota of Tampa.

Looks like we are having weak representation thus far. There seemed like a few other people were down from the old thread.
Like I said tho I have this posted on other forums and I am having some feedback from those boards so hopefully we will get more people in.
Keep passing the word around.

Sure seems like it's gunna be pretty dead..... I know you have a post over at MI, have you got any other takers on any other forums? 3 Yariis doesn't sound like much of a meet. I'm coming either way, just would be nice to have a few more...
Yea its looking rough man. Even on here it seemed like we had more people interested before. I do have the thread on Tampa Racing and there looks to maybe be a couple people who might show up and I have like 2 or 3 8th gen Civics that might come but everyone is not 100%.
On MI there was some support but both people seem too busy. It's up to you guys if you still want to come down, I know its not extremely far for you Goliath.

sorry guys, I am out.. Girl-friends grandma passed away over night. Wake is thursday, funeral friday. She doesnt wanna leave town, she is depressed. :frown: Sorry guys. Deaths never come at a good time.
I do have autocross in jacksonville the following weekend, Feb 12.
Wow man I am sorry to hear. Give your family my condolences.
Im always down for a meet so we can plan something for a week or two later as well.

I can still make it, if nothing else, if you still want that AFE we can do that. My wife wants to come too, get away from the house a bit. lol.

Tampa's fine, probably wont be down there for that long though.
Thats cool we can do the install go for a cruise snap some photos. And the wifey will be happy too lol

I will be planning more this is like no longer a real meet. Its just me and goliath now, so I would deff advise against the 4+hr drive this time. Next time you better come out though.

well if it becomes a big one, and its on the weekend then possibly yes, i love taking road trips, and im 100% sure my 2012 that i just got saturday will definetly be able to get over there with no problem lol
Dang some 3rd gen representation would be lovely.

I would even be willing to go up to like the panhandle to get together with people from AL and GA.
