i am using those but im confused... please excuse me as i am rookie on this things

b. For the fogs to turn on with the parking lights, low beams or high beams connect the
outside red wire to pin 3 and the green wire next to it to pin 13 of Connector D4,
which is the headlight stalk connector

red wire? i only have one orange... and it has a strange connector that i dont know how to use.

i am supposed to cut the wires? or remove one wire and replace the other?

the black one has a different connector it looks like a ground you will connect to a bolt.

1. remove pin 3 cable from D4 connector
2. connect the cable i just removed from D4 and connect it to my orange cable
3.connect my green cable to the pin 3
4. connect ground cable

am i correct?

i found the 2 set of instructions a litle different... did i receive an outdated switch?
woulndt i be missing the connection for the switch light?็

also i would like help on how to remove the pin from D4 connector i tried but i was not able and i was afraid of breaking it.

PAGE #4 red wire would need to be extended and routed up to steering column for foglight to be able to turn on with marker, low light and high light

I prefer an Xacto knife blade to a paperclip (if I don't have a proper pin popper). The tab that you are lifting is only in about 1/4". lift the pin lock tab and insert the blade in as shown below. I like to angle the blade towards the metal of the pin to get the blade to go on the correct side of the plastic tab (it is very easy to go above it, which makes it impossible to pull the pin). Once the blade is in position, lift the tip away from the metal pin and you will hear a slight click from the plastic tab. At that point the pin will easily slide out the back of the connector.
