Remove the front page

Seriously, it does nothing at all. It links to several parts of the forums that are just as easy to find once your inside the forums. It's an annoyance, that's all.

Now an actual site with some pages filled with compiled DIY articles, technical specifications, assorted Yaris info, etc.... would be great.

Hell I'll even volunteer to build it myself if so asked.

I just have http://yarisworld.com/forums/ bookmarked, so I never see the welcome page.

However, the cars coming in from the sides effect on the welcome page doesn't work in Firefox or Chrome...

cute....but I use probably 5-10 different computers per day....


and again, it just serves NO purpose. it links to sections of the forum which the actual forum also does. i just see absolutely no purpose in it. I'm all in favor of an actual front page....but one with actual articles and reference information, not just links to the DIY forum, lol.

Just type yarisworld.com/forums into the URL bar instead of yarisworld.com.

Pops is a welcome screen man you can skip it by typing /forums at the end or book mark it but why eliminate it? If it bothers you that bad pay for half of the forum and maybe bueller will take it down and who knows even make you mod. :wink:

agreed....i figured this is something that most would agree with not get a bunch of flack over.

my point is not that there shouldn't be any front page, but that if there IS one it should actually be more useful.

I like the idea of getting rid of it, I come here on my iPhone for DIY's and the front page is annoying and looks like ass on a mobile browser - have to zoom around and try to find the link just to get into the forums. Just my 2 cents.

That's because you are not attending to the question, or the point that the Mods cannot make this change, and the only Admin (the owner) doesn't change stuff.
