1. ) 12 qt. case of conventional : $34.99 - $9.00 = $25.99 ( $2.17 a qt. before tax )
2. ) 6 quart case of synthetic : $26.99 - $9.00 = $17.99 ( $3.00 a qt. before tax )
Just did oil change and drained out the SHELL synthetic 5w-20 ( SN ) and replaced with 4 quarts of the SHELL synthetic 5w-30 . Sent in a sample of the 5w-20 for analysis and should have the results by Thursday or Friday . Will post it here in the D.I.Y.. This is the lowest I've seen the Shell for quite awhile . The last time we picked up the SHELL synthetic 5w-20 from BJs it was $4.00 a quart before tax and with the coupon . If the used oil analysis is fine for the 5w-20 synthetic will likely pick up a case . If not , then the 5w-30 synthetic .
