A friend of mine is having a problem with his Yaris hatchback equipped with an ECO function. Would appreciate any help / suggestions someone can give to resolve this problem...
"The problem is that the ECO light (green color) keeps on blinking in the front odometer panel.....
He removed the negative terminal of the battery to reset the ECU and then the ECO light was off. Once the engine was started, it did the ECO function (i.e at traffic signal it turned-off engine and once the break paddle was pressed it started once it was removed)
But the problem is that it did that only once and after that the ECO light in the dashboard has started blinking continuously again.... and it has stopped to do the ECO start stop function... "
Any idea why is has stopped functioning???
