Hi, my Yaris 2012 is full manual, including mirror, windows, etc. Can I convert into power option after sometime. What about the door locking too?

@ afzal the door locking can be converted to powerlocks together with alarm, the windows not so sure still available.

you can have this done outside of toyota services, if there is any car accessories shop near you?

if you want to convert from manual(rotary) window to power window, you have to change the whole door assembly of the yaris.

The manual door doesn't have the mounting of the motor and it will come on different trim/fabric.

Your best bet is to buy from the scrapyard a complete door assy from a yaris y or yx package and ensure the harness, switches, trim, mechanism and glass is complete. The only thing you have to do is re-paint the door to match the color of your car.

IF I WERE YOU, I will just sell the car and get the Y or YX package as the cost of modding to power package is high. This is only for me and no offense :smile:

the price different between fleet and y is around 3~4k upon purchase...:thumbup:

Saan sa Riyadh maganda y paggawa?

Shukran! sir sa Batha (ghurabi) may nagkakabit nyan, power lock kasama alarm ranges 300-400 sr. depende sa brand ng alarm, ung power window dun din sa area na yun may nagkakabit malapit sa Al Obthany car accessories shop.. from post office (Batha) turn right tapos turn left sa gasoline satation then sa kanan bago dumating ng Al Obthany shop may maliliit na shop dun hanapin mo si Fort (kabayan) :thumbsup:

any alteration/modification will void the warranty of the car especially if the added modification is the source of trouble.
