There on the web site. Maybe a better discount should be considered since many of us have brakes that won't need replaced anytime soon!

Well, as I stated in the other thread, these prices are low and we are working off of percentages, which may not seem like much, but respectively it is 5% off, 11% off and 15% off. There is not much room for mark-up on these pads.

Is it possible to work a package with drilled and slotted rotors? This may be a more apealing GB

I would LOVE to see something like that
The breaks on these cars ROCK... But, depending on price... new pads and rotors would make me think about changing them early!

i am at 17k of newspaper delivery miles, stock brakes are strong. idk what i will do when i need new ones because no auto parts stores carry them and the dealer is ridiculous.

get in on the GB and keep em in the closet until you need em, you'll thank yourself later!
The rotor/pad thing sounds nice, but what is the cost going to be?
btw, there IS room for improvement on the stockers... they do show some fade with repeated heavy braking, albeit not to the point of pedal to the floor and the car isnt stopping (lol @ my monte carlo... wtf small brakes on a boat..).... but, they do fade.
I'll sign up late as usual :headbang:

Sure we can do so, however I am not sure if anyone has any out yet, or what rotors might be shared from another Yota model.

I have seen a few sets of drilled and slotted rotors out there for the Yaris, I think they may be the same as the XA

Just got off the phone with my contact @ Yota and he said the xA/xB rotors are not an identical match. The OD & width of the two are identical, but the rotor's centerline is 3mm deeper inward than the xA/xB. So that is a no go!
I do have some more avenues to explore. Sit tight fellas.

In luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found blanks and can have them drilled or slotted from a company like StopTech or someone else. Let me get pricing.

Slotted has grooves in the rotor, where as drilled has holes in the rotors. Each are designed to vent the gases created when braking under heated conditions.

Is the GB still going on?? Or do we have to individually buy from your site?

so........slotted or drilled? which would be better for a yaris with say 120-130hp?
and is it true that drilled rotors tend to break down faster?

drilled rotors can break if you drill them yourself
Properly machined ones should last just as long as solid or slotted ones.
I have slotted rotors on mine, I doublt it really makes such a big difference on such a light car as ours.

I am a fan of slotted because they are less prone to crack and have more active braking surface area.

Yes, but no one has made a firm commitment, so you can purchase right through the website if you like.

Well I have seen even Brembo rotors crack due to stress and heat. No manufacturer guarantees their rotors will not crack. Hence why I like slotted.

cool. I will keep that in mind when i upgrade my rotors or the whole setup.:thanks:

Damn, you'd think at the price you pay for those, they'd be a little more solid  Always a tradeoff somewhere, isn't there?

Yea...I totally agree with ChinoCharles. Personally I feel that cars look way better with two disc sets, one in front and one is back...or for showy/tuned cars.

just wondering if anyone knows if there is a rear disc conversion in the works, or anyone willing to import some rear disc hubs and all?

Joe, if you seriously want a rear disc conversion let me know. It was one of the many things I mentioned that this market could use, and my boys said it could be done.
