Can anyone tell me how to find out the exact time and date that someone sent you a friendship request? It is really important to me as I need to find out something that may need to be used in evidence in court.
I have already tried:
Scrolling down on my wall and keep hitting "older posts" to the date I thought it was but it does not appear.
Scrolling down on my friends wall and hitting "older posts" to the date I thought it was but it does not appear.
Looking through my private messages from this person.
Looking at "See Friendship" option and that just tells me the month we became friends.
Sending facebook an email to which I got an automated response that was extremely unhelpful.
Posting on the facebook community wall and asking how do i find out when someone sent me a friendship request.
Anyone else have any other ideas on this one? Please?

do you have the new "timeline" version of fb or the older reg version ? just a thought about possible variables. maybe that has to do with something

its like when you scroll down to the "story" of youve just added so and so as a friend it doesnt tell you any other info you just have what u posted before and after the "friending" action to go by
so say you posted a picture at 5pm on *date*
then friended someone
then posted another picture at 10pm on *date*
you know what i mean
meaning you must have added them between 5 and 10

Yeah, but I need real specific time and date. Not an approx. This may end up going to the coroner or a police inquest into a death. It's very important to me and the deceased's family that I can figure this one out. Even if I have to send a snail mail to facebook to get it.

normally you get an email when the friend request is sent? If by chance you did not delete it, that would have the most accurate timestamp

I think if you get the Timeline, it'll tell you?

I turned facebook email notifications off as I was getting an email anytime someone wrote on my wall, posted a picture of me........ It was really annoying to leave that on and I have deleted all my emails I have received from facebook. Good thinking though.

I hope so. Does anyone here have facebook in timeline style? If so can you run a test and see if it does show the date and time you friend someone?

I have timeline and looked around, sadly it groups new friends per month too... Closest you can get is finding your first interaction with that person, but I do not think you can get the exact date of the friendship request :(
Damn facebook and their privacy-invading ways!

I was just doing some reading on Facebook application development and for user request objects there are only two parameters - uid_from and uid_to, so it looks like time/date data is not accessible.

Using Facebook mobile (not Facebook app) I can get dates of when friend request was accepted. That's the only thing you can get a date on.
Did you friend he person asap or usually wait a few days? That's all I have, sorry. :-/

Person X sent me a friendship request and I pretty much accepted straight away. I'll have to try the mobile site. I'll post up if it works or doesn't.
