I know there's lots of info on swapping the Liftback's wiper switch for one from the Matrix or Prius to gain variable intermittent wipers. However, the best that I can tell, there's been nothing on an OEM option for the sedan. Well, there is now. After doing some poking around I have found an OE wiper switch for the Tundra/Tacoma that works perfectly in the Yaris sedan. This is a plug-and-play deal.

Yes, it's about the same length...just a tiny bit longer to allow for the adjusting ring for the variable int part.

I think retail is about $150. I paid $115.

Where you able to install the unit with out removing the steering wheel?

The steering wheel does not have to be removed for this install. You'll remove 3 screws...one under the steering column and one on each side, behind the wheel (you'll have to turn the wheel to access these) to separate and remove the steering column cover. You then disconnect the 2 connections on the bottom of the switch, push in the tab that holds the switch in place and pull it out. Reverse the order to install the new switch.

Can confirm that part number works in my 2007 sedan. Got an aftermarket switch off ebay for a fraction of the price of the OEM unit (~$50USD). Functions and looks identical to OEM, but the "click detent" might not be as nice when physically moving it. Relay is also a bit more audible, but not enough to drive me bonkers or anything. Time will tell how it holds up. Thanks for sharing!

I followed CTScott's install guide and it was very straight forward:
