Hi everyone *waves*,
@mods
Please free to delete this thread if it's old news - I'm a noob here - or move it, should this not be the right place for this thread.
I'm not sure if this link has been shared here before, but I've found a really neat website that explains how to fit the OEM accessories and part numbers.
Toyota Service Information (http://www.toyota-tech.eu/Aim/Aim.aspx?pubtype=AIM&menuitem=3)
*Pro tip - click on the magnifying glass next to the description to open the PDF*
They have manuals (PDF) for all kinds and generations of Toyotas.
I have just decided NOT to add the rear spoiler when I saw the picture of the drill. Yes, I am a little coward when it comes to using a drill on a car.
Almost died of heart failure adding PDC sensors on my (ex) Fiesta.

Darn. I was really hoping to get a "bolt on" blazing blue pearl OEM rear spoiler for my '12 hatch. It would have been a subtle and good-looking addition to an already handsome car.
I won't drill my car, either. I'm with you there.
I just wish it snapped and/or was glued on. Oh well.

I'm going to settle for the chrome fog lamp decals (the local 1.3 XRs have them) and (3dr) side sills, if they are:
a) available locally
b) not a gazillion $s
Had a look at the DRL fitment...
Now my head hurts.
I'm sure it would be no challenge at all to some more seasoned members on here though.

I was so overwhelmingly in joy when I learned the 2012s don't have that daytime running light nonsense.
My lights are for the darkness/overcast skies, not the daytime. I like controlling my lights, and I know when to use them, thanks Auto Manufacturers!

Do the spoiler, it looks mad!
Yeah, I'm gonna do DRLs, but aftermarket ones, not OEM. Too expensive. :(

It does!
Seeing that the 1.3 XR (the only ones locally that come with the spoiler) are almost non-existent due to their price, it would make mine stand out even more.
Just the drilling though...
Maybe I'll ask my buddies Vodka and Gin (:drinking:) to help calm the nerves, but then the end result may vary.

Don't be afraid, just make sure you put paint primer/rust proofing on any bare metal (don't forget the back side of the hole!!). You won't see the holes, so it shouldn't be perfect, but measure twice, cut once. :)

The spoiler is pure sex on the back of the Yaris...but I just cannot/willnot risk it.
I guess I'm a coward.
