Aren't those made for the Miata? Do they fit the Yaris hubs ok, or do you have to use hub centric adapter rings?

The 2 valve holes are so you can fill with 100% nitrogen, with only 1 valve you could never get all the oxygen out of the tire

the two valves are to fill with nitrogen and purge out the air that nitrogen displaces...
and yes very popular with the miata crowd.

The hub bore is 67.1mm so hub rings are a good idea

Did you find your hub centric rings yet? If not, check with Tire Rack, they sent a set of them with my last set of rims I purchased for the Celica!!

Beautiful and nice choice, 6UL's are awesome.

Let me just say this now - never ever powdercoat these. It makes the metal brittle and fragile.

I woke up this morning, looked at YW, and noticed under Wheels and Tires it said "New Wheels" and the last author was 330H

I thought to myself, "Phew! All's right with the world."

Yeah, makes me wonder about wheel powdercoating, too (not that I'm about to do that having just bought new wheels). However, what's the rule? I've had wheels powdercoated in the past without issue ...

it all comes down to the science. these particular wheels are low pressure cast and heat treated to increase tensile strength. heat treating again would change the metal characteristics, since powercoat cures around 390f thats basically heat treating a second time. bad for these wheels. for other wheels the powdercoat process might make them stronger, that all depends on how they were made in the first place.

Got some work done today and finally got tires, i went a different direction and decided to go with real race tires. Studs are installed, they look pretty funny with steelies, new tires and wheels are getting mounted tomorrow. i gotta get some break in miles on them to their ready for track duty in a few weeks.
