I'm getting roughly 1200...i filed it myself too...i feel so proud..i never had this much return before!..this is 1k higher than last year's return, cuz of college tuition n stuff..next year's will surely be higher since my new college cost twice as much as the previous one.

I would say rims and springs, but if you can only do one, start with the springs, to avoid the off-roader look

whatever YOU want most.
MY first thing was the cd player, that came out within 2 days....
If I drove the car hard, or through alot of twisty turns... springs would be on the top of the list.
If I wanted the look of rims.... I'd get rims.
If you have a need for GPS (WOW DO I!!!!) then get GPS.

Wheels + springs = $600 or so, which is only 1/2 of your tax return.... then make and extra car payment :)

You can buy Drugs with your Tax return... Pot, Shrooms, Blow
So that way you don't have to pay Sales Tax with the money you saved from paying TAXES...
It won't last as long as the Radio But, It's a good time!

EDIT: Crutchfield's prices are usually higher than other places around the web.
Case in point...

If I were you, I'd go on Ebay and buy from a power seller with a 99%+ positive feedback rating like the one I provided.
Ebay is on average the cheapest, but if you're weary of online auctioning (which I know a lot of you are) there are a few web sites out there that sell discounted car audio parts... onlinecarstereo.com and sonicelectronix.com come to mind right off the bat, and I know there are others.
And of course, don't forget Froogle.

I'm all about looks so I vote rims, and spend any extra on another suit since you look so lovely in the one you have!

With all the snow and ice right now I really don't need my car being any lower and I wouldn't want to ruin new rims. I'm in the same situation just waiting for warmer weather.

How about making money off of the government for a change? Invest it!
Here's what I do- every year I take my return and put it into a 1 year CD. The next year when I get my return, I close the previous year's CD, combine the 2 and open a new 1 year CD. I do this every year until I get $15,000, then I close the CD and open a Money Market. At this point, I'm waiting for my money market accounts to reach $25,000 each, at which point I will combine them and place them into a diversified retirement account which is designed to lessen in risk as I get closer to my retirement date.
You don't have to work for the government to get a government pension.
