I am about to purchase a 2008 Yaris Liftback. With the front passenger seat pushed all the way forward, can I fit an item that is 60 inches long?

I did not bring a tape measure with me.

Thanks.

I've measured 54 inches, but I can't remember it that was to the back of the driver seat in driving position. If so, you may be able to do 60 behind the passenger seat.

Ive carried some crazy stuff in the yaris. It depends on what it is, and how its shaped. Ive fit an extension ladder, 6 ft fence posts, etc. with the hatch closed. Without laying the passenger seat down, mid 50s is probably a reasonable length estimate.

The item I am trying to fit is irregularly shaped. Its is a bike rack that I will take off when I park the car. When the bike rack is in the car, I will be the only person in the car (drivers seat). Think of the item as a T. The top part of the T measures 58" long. The width of the top part of the T is about 18" wide. The length of the bottom part of the T is about 10".

I was thinking about putting this in at an angle. Or maybe I can fold down the front seat.

Any ideas? Thanks
