i post this because i found out rays lug nuts its so expensive. and the wheels cost 200k yen for 4, but worth it weighs 3.7kg in each rim.

i thought the 200k yen has already lock nuts, lug nuts, center caps =| i was wrong.

i already bought the rims so no turning back :(

any aftermarket lug nuts should work. The rays ones aren't special or different or anything. How much are they charging for them over there? I bought mine from a company in the US that had them priced the same as other aftermarket locking lug nuts.

do they have to be Rays? We have some really nice conical 2-piece lug nuts in neochrome that just came in.

Actually, they are; they're made of some special alloy of aluminum not steel so they are much lighter. Otherwise, they have the same conical seat dimension/angle as almost any other lug.

yea, just lightweight and locking. I figured that was sort of obvious. I don't remember them being expensive though, maybe they have raised the price since I bought them. No idea if I kept the receipt or not though.

okay never mind, i payed $140 for them from hop up racing. Not a big deal to me since the wheels were so much more...

oh it sounds ridiculous to me considering what it really is, but considering what Volk/Ray's wheels cost, and why one would spend so much on them in the first place, and also considering most lightweight lugs are in that same ballpark, i figured might as well go all out to get as light as i possibly could.
