OK, no one seems to be responding to my post about a meet-up in the San Antonio area, which has me wondering how many YW members are still in the area?

We had a few good meets, and I'd like to start arranging another one in the near future; but if no one is around it isn't worth the effort!

So, rise up and be counted my fellow Texans! How many folks on here are in the San Antonio/South Texas area?!?

Had a fun commute home this afternoon "racing" a red 5-door with mags and a Toyota exhaust tip. I "won!" :biggrin:

Started over on Military just south of 90 and continued all the way to where 151 hits 1604 (he went towards Culebra and I headed north on 1604).

By chance was it anyone on here? I'd like to have given him a YW card, but it wasn't a safe thing to do at those speeds! :eek:

Apparantly not. I was in SA all february and saw 3 Yaris (actually, one was an Echo). One was a rental car for sure. Here they are every second car on the road!

we'll be back in texas around july-ish, and we'll be going to SA to visit seaworld, so if anything gets together around that time, I'd stop by and visit!

So, are you ever going to make it here?

Also, who's left in SA? I see a few Yarii running around; but it seems like everyone on this forum has disappeared! It'd be nice to get the gang together again one evening if only just to line the cars up. It was a lot of fun last time but it's been too long and we're long overdue!

We need to get this meet-up going! Unfortunately, I will be out of town for most of the next two months; but if we can push this to the November timeframe (when temps will drop to the low 90s!) it should be a lot nicer than the triple digits we're in right now!

Also, that lanky kid that usually accompanies me to the previous meets now has his learner's permit; so most likely he'll be the one driving the Yaris and I'll be the one in the passenger seat with this look on his face: :eek:
