Well i'd like to add an amp in stock headunit can i take the signal from the rear speakers from the back of the headunit (strip the cables and adding an LOC there) and from there to the amp? or i have to strip the cables near to the speakers and connect from there the LOC (low output converter)?
IMHO I won't recommend doing it on the stock unit... get an after marked one with pre-amp out... just my 2 cents...

its the same signal behind the head unit as at the speakers.
Go with behind the head unit, it'll make your life alot easier.

You can also splice into the rear deck speakers since the amp is right there if thats were you are going to mount it. U can save alot of money on RCA's and you also have room to tinker with it. I always liked to put it in the rear, but the choices of were to install are limitless.
