question! i got a 2010 3dr. interested in "daddy Y" or "frownonfun" body kits they are selling. i was reading that all i have to do is to get the headlights and tail lights to convert to the 08 so this kit will fit. are these assemblys a direct bolt on? im curious before i throw money down on something that i cant use

Tails will be a direct fit. I've read that some modification was necessary to fit the headlight assemblies.

thank you sir to clear up! i dont know but i m more interested in just the lip kit, not a big fan of replacing the whole bumper. also it doesnt looks like it drop the body down any bit. i like the karmnari lip kit like your car but the front and rear lip wont work and they arent going to make it for the 2009+ yaris.

Any aftermarket bodykit is going to take some work to get great fitment. But, more or less, yes it just bolts up as the stock bumper does.

And by the way, lip kits from overseas DO NOT fit our cars. The bumpers are shorter there, so the lip is too short on our bumpers.

Ok, so I am un happy with the way my front bumper turned out. Fiberglass is definitly not meant for autocross. I don't blame the vendor, I don't blame the manufaturer. I blame my dumb luck. 2 racoons in 1 week, 2 weeks after my front bumper was on.

Its now cracking at certain stress points on the side. Just not holding up to the abuse i put on it each month.

SO, on that note. I have been searching. where can I find polyurethane front/rear or full body kits? I can't seem to find any legit full polyurethane bumpers.

In my opinion, what you really want is ABS, which is what the OEM bumpers are made out of. Unfortunately there is not enough of a market for Yaris body kits for any of the ABS people to make them. Polyurethane will be a bit stronger and more flexible than firberglass or duraflex, but unless it is injection molded, it still won't be as durable as the OEM ABS.

I think Kaminari is the only one that makes injection molded Yaris urethane kits, but the reviews seem to be a bit mixed on their kits.

The best kit I have ever played with was the Wings West 6pc body kit for my crx. Nobody does these any more seem like.. oh well.

I purchased my lip kits from overseas vendors in thailand and malaysia and have not been burned thus far.

There is nothing stateside other than the way overpriced S kit and IDK if that is even available for the hatch.

Garm can usually get a lot too. My front lip is coming from him.

Mine came with the lip molded into the entire bumper. Best I can tell you is my bumper is a replica of the Thailand RS model, and I got it a few years back from Cali yaris when I had to replace my bumper after a accident.

I think it was around $350. Insurance paid for the price of OEM and I covered the rest. But when I hit a rabbit and broke the bottom of the bumper insurance didn't care what it cost and price matched it with a $150 aftermarket bumper. Needless to say I got mine fixed by a family member who paints cars.
