View Full Version : Crutchfield says this won't fit
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-a7s4b0ySSkU/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=410&I=049RUA216
For some reason, Crutchfield has recently decided that the YAris LB has 5 1/4s in the front and 6 1/2s in the back. I thought it was the other way around and that 6 1/2s would fit in either spot with minimal modification.
So what say y'all? Could a 6 3/4 fit in the front door panel?

I have 6 1/2 all around
When you were installing those, did it seem to you that an extra 1/4" was available up front?

Well 6 3/4 can fit though you will have to drill new holes within the metal door panel bracket.
I have 6 1/2 inch all round too........to take out the pain of installation, i suggest get 6 1/2 inch front and 5 1/4 at the back and get and amp and sub (if thats not over ur budget). Though if ur not too big on bass then go for your 6 3/4 project.
Oh, I don't feel the NEED for the extra 1/4", but that's a prety good price on those and I've had goo dluck with MB Quart in the past..as for drilling, I'm going to pay someone else to install them, so if it's a little more headachey, I'm not that concerned.
As long as it can fit and look stock once it's reassembled (with the exception of the tweeters, of course) then I'm cool.
