2006 Yaris noise in dash (like a speedo cable)

Hi every one. Just recently my Yaris has stated to make a noise in the dash. The noise kindf seems to be directly in front of the driver, only when moving. If the car is makeing the noise and you go to stop, the sound will be consistant till you get to about 10-15kmh and then you can gradualy here it slowdown till the car stops. Does not seem tempurature related. Yes I know the car does not have a speedo cable.

If it is directly in front of the driver, it is most likely the electric power steering motor, especially with it being speed dependent.

im now noticing a slight whining noise during a slight turn.. if i keep the steering straight then no noise but slight turn i notice a slight whine.. never had that noise before..

I found my problem, just a plastic tie rubbing on the ground.
