Pre-wired as in through the firewall. None of the 2nd gen ones had the wiring in place from the under hood fuse panels to the lights, unless they came with the lights.

Based on the wiring diagrams I would say - Yes.

Hello. I found my Carway brand fog light kit I bought from Garm @ microimage at least 12 years ago. It was buried deep in my garage junk clutter area. I’m going to install them soon. There’s no installation instructions with the box. I do see a few posts here about similar installs. The kit has a a complete wire harness that goes from the fog light bulbs all the way to inside the car. I saw there was a way to not go into the firewall & splice or add wires to an existing connector. Is this true that wiring exists on a 2009 under the hood, but not inside the car. Would anyone have a written tutorial or a PDF of the Toyota kits bought from the dealer? Any help is greatly appreciated
Thank you!
