Starting issue

Hi,

I have the Vitz 2007 model, auto. I noticed since last week that after starting the car there is this choking sound for a few seconds, as if its struggling to continue running and then is normal. The car runs fine and no issue as such.

It only happens in the mornings after the car is parked for a long time say overnight and after work.

Any idea what is the cause?

Does the starter sound normal? If you turn on your headlights and then try starting the car, how dim do the lights get before the car starts?

Yes the starter sounds normal. Didnt try with teh headlights. Its only after I switch on the ignition that the struggling sounds happens and then its normal. Happens in teh mornings or late evenings after work when the car is parked for long in between it starts fine
