These are the tires that im looking at getting for my sedan. The seem like good tires, i live in south dakota so i wouldnt get them if i wasnt moving to georgia before next winter. If you have a tires plus near you, they are supposed to be having a "fuel saver" sale going on between april 2nd and 29th if you buy a set of 4 ecpoia tires.

They were only ones in the area . They're not available in the 60 . Thinking of these for the '11 Fit . Here's the Bridgestone site , http://www.bridgestonetire.com/productdetails/QuickSearch/Ecopia_EP422_(eco) .

I desperately need two rear tires on the Yaris I recently bought. All 4 are Goodyear, which is a brand I never have really liked.

Michelin is coming out with the new Defender tire, which I think is their answer to the Ecopia.

I'm not one to be a guinea pig, but I think I am going to try the Defenders. They are about $50.00 more for a set compared to the Ecopia.

Is the traction rating on those a "B"? I'm too lazy to google it. lol

Pulled the trigger on the Ecopia 422 at $56.60 each before taxes . Got them for the 2011 base model Fit through local Chevy dealer parts department that's participating in the $100 / $50 discount for a prepaid Visa card . They matched the price of $81.60 at Tirebuyer ( http://tirebuyer.com/tirebuyerwicket/home/tab/Buy%20Tires/subtab/Shop%20by%20Vehicle/sortChanged/false/selPanel/tireDetailPanel/isListChanged/false/vfrontWidth/175/vfrontRatio/65/vfrontDiameter/15/page_0/1/selectedYear/2011/selectedMake/HONDA/selectedModel/FIT/selectedTrim/STANDARD/selectedFitment/175*fs*65R15%2084S/action/searchByTrim/tireCatalogView_selectedItem/826722# ) . They could do this thanks to the free shipping at Tirebuyer , otherwise the S&H would be included in the price of the tires and then the $100/$50 discount . The installation should be under $65 with taxes ( local / state ) . Here's the site for the rebate through participating GM dealers , http://www.mycertifiedservicerebates.com/pdf/GMN.pdf . Must purchase 4 tires . The Bridgestone , Continental , Goodyear , Hankook , or Pirelli tires get a $100 rebate . The BF Goodrich , Dunlop , Firestone , General , and Michelin get $50 off . There's a possibility that not all GM part departments will price match off the internet . So , may want to call in advance for details . The discount ends May 31st .

The 422s for Yaris ( 185/60-15 ) could be purchased for $61.56 each before taxes with the price match of Tirebuyer's price of $86.56 -$25 ($100 rebate ) . Remember S&H must be free and if local GM dealer will match an internet price . Here's Tirebuyer http://tirebuyer.com/tirebuyerwicket/home/tab/Buy%20Tires/subtab/Shop%20by%20Vehicle/sortChanged/false/selPanel/tireDetailPanel/isListChanged/false/vfrontWidth/185/vfrontRatio/60/vfrontDiameter/15/selectedYear/2008/selectedMake/TOYOTA/selectedModel/YARIS/selectedTrim/S%20SEDAN/selectedFitment/P185*fs*60R15%2084T/tireCatalogView_selectedItem/1270835/action/searchByTrim/page_0/3 .

The Continental Pro Contact with Eco Plus could be $58.11 each through local GM parts department(s) if price matched at Tirebuyer , http://tirebuyer.com/tirebuyerwicket/home/tab/Buy%20Tires/subtab/Shop%20by%20Vehicle/sortChanged/false/selPanel/tireDetailPanel/isListChanged/false/vfrontWidth/185/vfrontRatio/60/vfrontDiameter/15/selectedYear/2008/selectedMake/TOYOTA/selectedModel/YARIS/selectedTrim/S%20SEDAN/selectedFitment/P185*fs*60R15%2084T/tireCatalogView_selectedItem/442056/action/searchByTrim/page_0/2 . Have these on the '08 Yaris sedan . The handling ( especially wet ) and ride are improved over the RE 92s' . Noise level is lower and the gas mileage remains the same or slightly better .

Got the 422s' installed on the '11 Fit earlier for a total of $414 then should get the $100 Visa debit card from GM in a few months or so making it $314 which includes mount and balance . Also received an additional credit of $35 from the dealer service center towards future rotation or other need . After install went to a convenient store that supplies free air and set them to 35.5 p.s.i.. The ride is quieter than the Dunlop SP 31 A/S that came with the Fit . Gas mileage seems to be the same . The pictures show gas mileage , miles on tank , and amount of gas used before they brought the car into the shop to change the tires , the other is when we got home with the 422s' . There was about 60 pounds of groceries , the 2 of us , a few very steep hills , some head / side winds of 12 m.p.h. , 15% city driving , and some interstate speeds of 67 . Hopefully the F.E. will bump up some as the tires break in . Still got the the hairs on them . Plan to refill to see what the next tank brings . This is the base model with the 5 speed auto and 175/65-15s' .

We went for a trip and ended up getting this with the 422s' and Dunlop 31s ( little over 1/2 the tank from beginning ) . The last pics are arrival home after the fill of Valero 87 w/E10 . There's 221 miles on the tires and most of the hairs are wearing away . Will update on how they perform on wet roads . Seems more effortless to keep gas mileage at a steady pace and less hit when accelerating than with the Dunlop SP 31s'. Last , when filling up at the Valero station a nice woman filling her Prius on the other side of the pump asked if the FIT is a hybrid and what the gas mileage was . I said that it's not a hybrid and we'll let her know the calculated mileage . That was 39 ( 356.9 mis. / 9.151 gals. @ 1 click ) . She also wanted to see the inside of the car , so showed her the flip up rear seats and how the seats fold flat . She was fascinated at the room it had . Asked her gas mileage and said it was usually over 50 . Good to see that there are some kind indivisuals out there .

Picking up from the 40.3 and ended up with 39.2 on the display . Calculated was 39.42 m.p.g. ( 358.8 mis. / 9.1 gals. ) . Forgot to get pictures . Did get pis of this after the fill of 93 w/E10 . Then did another fill of Sunoco 93 w/ E10 ( 86.7 mis. / 2.18 gals . ) . Last is when arriving home . Seems the Ecopia are helping . More consistent with 38+ m.p.g.. They're set at 36 .

Picking up from the 2 last pictures . Display : 40.8 , calculated 41.22 ( 346.8 mis. / 8.412 gals. @ 1 click ) . Gas was 93 w/E10 . New fill is Gulf 93 w/E10 . 422s' at 37 p.s.i..

Did a fill earlier of Sunoco 89 w/E10 . The gas used was GULF 93 w/E10 . The 42.26 m.p.g. is the best mileage since the purchase of the FIT little over a year ago . 369.6 mis. / 8.745 gals. ) Display was 40.5 . 422s' are set at 37 and there's well over 1,000 miles on them with very little wear .

Did a fill yesterday of Sunoco 91 w/E10 . Results are 41.049 calculated . The 422s' are about 37 p.s.i.. Engine oil is Pennzoil Platinum 0w-20 . Much easier to keep the gas mileage up with these tires . 5 out of the last 6 fills have been 40.6+ m.p.g.. Best is 42.26 . Got to be the tires . Didn't have as many good tanks this period of time last year . The higher octane might help some as well :iono: . Will start doing fills of 87 w/E10 after this tank to see if any difference .
