There are several companies in the US under than name that sell to the car audio realm.

I know the Car Toys in the NW is a rip off as far as pricing and install expertise.

You're trying to buy from an authorized dealer due to warranty purposes correct ?

Man you still have to be careful. If you read your warranty they want somebody certified to install the equipment. If not they void it. You need to register the product. Keep your receipt. Keep your paperwork. "Birthsheet". And then on top of all that ship the equipment back. Which can be pricey. And lord forbid the online store go out of business in your warranty time.

For warranty purposes buy local if you're that worried about it. I know sonic isn't the best place to buy stuff from but there warranty is ok. Call them up and see how they handle warranty claims.
