Low idle speed

I have noticed that my idle speed drops as low as 514rpm for a second or two then is jumps up to about 700 rpm makes the steering wheel shake when it goes low it happens when i have been driving a while and stop at a light anybody else have this problem

almost sounds like a clutch kicking in for something....

i think i notice my fan kicking on and turning off when im at a stand still...

I don't have the deforst on and the temp isn't up to 202F

It is how the car is designed... I think it has something to do the the VVT-i

almost every light before I opened up the exaust. By taking the bottle neck out after the resinator, and the new header, she idles much smoother, I still feel the RMP's drop a little but not to where it is shaking like it did before

idle should be more even don't you think

It is normal.Don't bother.

I didnt have that problem until I installed my CAI no it does it from time to time at stop lights.
