Hi,
I'm looking to buy a Alpine CDE-HD137BT from Crutchfield and would like to know a few things.
I have a Yaris Hatchback 2007 with stock everything (I have AC and electric windows).
1. Is the free parts they send include something to change from double to single din?
2. Do I need to buy other cables to get music from iPod / Android Phone or the USB port will do everything?
3. Do I need special tools or will the replacement with this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTGQGVZyJ-0 be easy?
4. Any info on anything for someone who never did this would be nice.
Thank you,
Nick

The dash kit will fit your single din head unit. The standard wiring harness to hook up to your head unit's wiring harness and connect it to the factory harness will be included. Any cables for any accessories (MP3 players) will come with your head unit or be an extra cost.

Here's the picture of my current radio: http://i.imgur.com/1SwD7.jpg
While we're at it, will it be relatively easy to put the microphone where I want without taking out every part of my car?

Where do you want to install your mic and I'll pull up some part #'s later today or tomorrow. It's the weekend so Xbox takes priority. Loll.
If you don't want to wait for part numbers just go to Amazon.com and type in 2007 Yaris Hatchback dashkit/wire harness and you should get a few choices to cross reference. If not http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/products

No rush lol...The unit is BO and they don't have any ETA. I'm mainly getting all the info I can get to make everything easy when I get my parts.
Along with the HU, they are sending those two things:
Toyota Yaris In-dash Receiver Kit (http://www.crutchfield.ca/Toyota_Yaris_Kit_2007_up_E_p/120998216.htm)
Receiver Wire Harness (http://www.crutchfield.ca/Toyota_Geo_Wire_Harness_receiver_1987_up_p/120701761.htm)
I don't really know where to put the mic. I guess I could put it on top of the steering wheel or somewhere in that area so it gets my voice easily.
thanks for the help btw

The links you gave look right. If you are going to put the mic above the steering wheel it'll be easy. Looks like you're all set.
Post a link to the headunit and I'll tell you if you need any extras. Only thing may be a 3.5 mm plug.

Here's the HU :
Official Website: http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/cde-hd137bt/
Where I buy: http://www.crutchfield.ca/Alpine_CDE_HD137BT_CD_Receiver_p/500hd137bt.htm
Will I have to deassemble other things or I'll have easy access via the "hole" when I change the radio.

The shipping cost is huuuuuge lolll....60$ of shipping cost for a 200$ unit.
I'll continu checking and either get the one I posted from crutchfield.ca, or get another one at Best Buy and get the mounting and harness over the interwebz.

I got the single din dash kit and harness for $30 (25+5) at a local shop! Check around town.
The install itself was super easy as it was my first time also.

Hi,
I'm still unlucky and my radio is still Back Order. I decided to change and go with a Pioneer DEH-P9400BH.
My question is: Is there a best/one that looks better installation kit between:
Scosche TA2077B / TA2077 (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8690_Scosche-TA2077B-TA2077.html)
Metra 99-8216 (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_13005_Metra-99-8216.html)

I vote Scosche. I've used both kits and like that one better.

Ok cool. My only concern really is: Will my radio "pop-out" or will it be flush with the rest of the car. (I don't want it to be like 1/2 inch out in front as I see in some cars)

Look in the Headunit eye candy thread. It'll stick out some

Is any of those two stick out less then the other?

OK thank you, I've check the thread and saw the difference pretty fast between the two. I'll go with the Scosche :D .
