Yaris repair is it possible?

I have a Toyota Yaris vtti 2003 air conditioning, silver metallic, only 75000km as it is left-hand drive in France.
It was a relatives and has been very well looked after.
Sadly a week ago I glided over diesel oil and water on a road surface and smashed into a rock face. Personally uninjured, this kind of accident seems to occur quite frequently I now realise, in these parts.
The insurers will pay me 3700E or I can take it back as it is and try to get it repaired I guess with the money less the value that a breakers will pay for it. What would a breakers pay? I assume the engine is intact that the body work is the costly repair. The repair has been set at 6000E. The back wing needs replacing I think as well as both bumpers. The windscreen is intact. The air bag did not release.
If anyone has any experience in this area please can you let me know. Dealing in another country and not being fluent in French it is hard to work out the best option. Many thanks Carol

Generally speaking the cost of body work has gotten so expensive that a relatively minor accident can total a car.

Having said that I have no idea what the considtion of the car is.

How much for another car. How much to fix this one?

I doubt the junkyard will give you more than say $500. But you could call and ask.

If the car is good mechanically and has been good to you perhaps the best way is to fix it until its acceptable visually.
