I'd like to have a Hamburg Pa Meet.
Would August 25 or the 26 be good?
I was thinking of contacting someone there at the Freedom Toyota Dealership. The address is
41 Industrial Drive Hamburg, PA 19526
Any thoughts?

As an aside for anyone heading east from Hamburg after the meet, if you have the time, and love classic cars, check out Wheels of Time being held that weekend in Macungie (in the Lehigh Valley). Gates open 7am, and car viewing until sundown (usually around 8ish this time of year). $8 donation (or $6 with a can of food for donation to Allentown Rescue Mission).
I'll most likely be checking out the car show again, but probably not on Saturday as I have a birthday party for 2 adorable little kids that afternoon.

Are we still a go for this Saturday?
I was thinking of making some muffins for the meet... Blueberry, banana chocolate chip, apple pie... Maybe some slutty brownies as well...

Well, update:
I hope to still be there on Saturday. My car decided it wanted to try curb hopping this morning between a traffic signal pole and a street sign. It didn't go so well. She wound up on the sidewalk facing a different street sign, and maybe 8-10 feet from a tree.
Definite known damage:
- pass front tire wheel is severely bent and the tire is flat
- drivers front tire is flat
Thankfully I run steelies, since I know I'm going to need a new one of those. More than likely 2 new tires as well (which sucks since I had just replaced my tires in June).
Possible damage:
- bent control arm on the passenger side (the space between the wheel and the well towards the door is less than on the drivers side, not by too much, but definitely there)
- not sure what's going on with the front bumper, but it seems to have been tweaked a little too, but that might have happened when it was removed from the rollback (he wasn't that gentle with it)
I'll post pictures of the damage later today.
Headed out to the garage to try and figure out what's going on with the car.

yes we are on!
I just got off the phone with Greg Miller. We will have our own section cleared after the second enterence. Would we rather coffee or water to drink?
I will also try to borrow a pop up tent or canopy from my in-laws.
if anyone needs call me on my cell

I can bring a ez-up tent (10x10) if I can still make it. It's up in the air as to whether my Yaris will be drivable by then. Waiting on a new control arm to come in so I don't do anymore damage to the car by driving it in the current condition (the control arm is definitely bent).
I really want to come to meet fellow Yaris owners, even if my lil egg is not functioning at this time. So if others are cool with it, I'll come no matter what, just whether in an egg or a very elongated egg (probably a jetta sportwagen tdi if not my lil car).

Its funny cause I was in PA today. I was up in Lock Haven University dropping off things for my brother. It was a 4hour ride there and 4hr and 30min ride home hitting slow traffic here and there. I took some pics of my yaris at the campus. here check them out. I wish was able to make it yesterday but too much was going on this weekend.
