Question re ABS Issue on a 2008 Yaris

I just recently purchased a mint 2008 Yaris (sedan, 5-speed, loaded) with 31,000 km on it and have been reading up on the forums. Needless to say, I love this little thing - it puts the fun back into driving again. I think that I got a great deal on it as I only paid $8,800 for it.

I am well aware of the corroded ABS issue but I recall reading somewhere that 2008 models built late in the model year, may have had the newer (better) ABS sensor units installed. Since my car was built in May/08, I am hoping that this info is correct - can anyone confirm this?

I can't recall my build date. Bought it new at end of March 2008. Never a hint of a problem with the ABS although mine was rustproofed before pick-up. Goo over everything underneath may have helped avoid the issue. Over 110,000 kilometers on it now.
