Not sure about payment, TK might have to chime in to answer. I don't believe there is a fabber yet, when we get the 20 spots filled, I think he will start to look for one. The price is $69 shipped on MI, I think it will be the same, but again, something for TK to answer, since he'll be doing the legwork.

I have already began searching for a fabricator, but 15 sets is simply not enough of a commitment.

The problem is that there needs to be enough orders to justify buying all the materials, which must be bought in bulk and are quite expensive. To make things worse, all the remaining material (which in this case would be most of it) would need to be used in some other project relatively quickly, or else it deteriorates and becomes worthless, making the whole operation even more expensive to the fabricator.

its an auction site in south america. literally translates to marketplace.com. in his comments and questions area he says he's willing to meet up in person for the transaction. he's located in chile.

its fiberglass. he claims to send them painted for an additional 10 dollars. and he includes double sided paint. had to make an account to ask about shipping to the US and if its $25 USD or not. has an 83% positive score which is pretty bad when compared to ebay scores

That's in Spanish. I believe that dude bought a set from me and copied it. I can't be 100% sure that it's him, but I sure wouldn't trust him over people I've done good business with in the past (i.e. Garm).

Besides, his price is quite close to the originals and that's without shipping or any sort of guarantee (that site is not exactly eBay).

Since this is finally happening, I have a few things to set straight that I've read on this thread:

1. The eyelids that a member was busted for are not the same as this model. They are way more aggressive and they do affect light output, if maybe only slightly. Also, these are made in fiberglass which is a million times better than vinyl at dealing with heat issues.

2. I am no longer involved in the project, so the list number and price requirements are completely up to MicroImage from now on.

3. I have tons of pictures from other members in case the awesome pics from Kaotic aren't drool-inducing enough: EYELIDS PICS (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10491)

I liked those but i wish they were wider on the hatchbacks. I wanted the middle to come further down making the lamp a bit more narrow. Just my personal wish. Its the reason why i sold mine. But i do miss the look reguardless

There are certainly more "aggressive" designs floating around (which basically boil down to lower, straighter lines), but I really liked how the LB design followed every line surrounding the hood, while minding OEM gaps between panels. Not to mention that both of these designs block 0% of the light output, which is less likely to get you a ticket IMHO.
