I've tried searching on the forum before posting. But I can't find the answer to my question (sorry if this has already been posted)
I'm thinking of adding some dc headers on my yaris (08 sedan, 1.5L, automatic)
After installment, will I see any check engine light's or anything? Have people down the road seen check engine light come on because of the headers. I am thinking of just install the headers, and not a CAI. How do u think that will be?
Suggestings + tips are welcomed :)
Thanks!

You are replacing just the header (only one) there should be no light if all is done correctly. Be advised to use care in removing and re-installing the sensor. Read the boards here to get an idea of potential trouble regarding sensor. Good luck.
Typed all this and didn't notice it's an Echo. My bad.
Search harder next time this has been discussed plenty. Yes it is possible for you to get a CEL. The easiest fix is to get an o2 defouler and install it into the header bung and then the o2 sensor itself into the defouler. This makes the sensor farther away from the increased air flow so it does not throw a code. Some people say this o2 defouler is mandatory but I have no o2 defouler and my o2 sensor is plugged straight into my header bung in my dc header with about 5k miles on it and I have never thrown a code.
btw you will love the pull

You're thinking about the 2nd O2 sensor on the midpipe. You don't use an anti-fouler on the header.
Post#2 is good advice. OP, I hope you order from Micro Image.

I've run mine for about a year and have never seen a CEL or any negitive issues due to the DC Header.
Mines a manual.
