Hi all,
I was wondering if the more learned member of the forum would give me some feedback on my planning
I drive 40 thousand a mile a year so comfortable ride is important to me so is gas mileage.
I'm planning to go withthe following
Rims= miata 14 inch 195/60/14 instead of the 185/60/14. Rims were free
BTW why do people say that the honda 1996-2000 rimsand the first generation miata fit our cars. I assume its not a direct bolt on, because I ve had to modify miata rims to fit honda in the past.
I plan to go with the best touring tires that money can buy. I've learned through the years that bang for the buck and the best performance upgrade are tires. I elected touring tires because I'm hoping to get the best of both worlds spirited driving when needed and a comfortable drive othewise. Any recommendation?
Shocks? Stock shocks seems to provide a pretty choppy ride, you can feel every single bump in the road.
KYB, Monroe sensa track, KONI. Im lookng at 340 for a set of four for kyb and monroe. Lifetime warranty. I figure i can change them once a year. Koni are the same. What the best if you looking for a balance of comfort and performance.
sway bars 19 in the back gies you a neutral ride? 23 gives you oversteer?
thanks ahead of time
